We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. Statistical data from public sources (World Bank, IMF, OECD) remains in the public domain; FutureLife's curation and presentation of that data is proprietary.

Where the platform allows you to submit content (e.g., contact form messages, quiz responses), you represent that the content is accurate, does not infringe any third-party rights, and complies with these Terms.
By submitting content, you grant FutureLife a worldwide, royalty-free license to use it for the purposes for which it was submitted. We will not use your personal communications for marketing without your explicit consent.

The platform contains links to third-party websites including affiliate partners (Booking.com, Airbnb, Wise, SafetyWing, GetYourGuide). FutureLife has no control over these sites and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms.
8. Data Sources & Methodology
FutureLife aggregates publicly available data and community-reported figures to build its country profiles, cost estimates, and the FutureLife Index. We do not independently verify every data point. Here is how each data type is sourced:
Sources: Numbeo, Expatistan, community expat reports, and exchange-rate-adjusted local research.
Figures represent typical ranges for a single person. Actual costs vary by city, neighbourhood, and lifestyle.
Sources: Global Peace Index (Institute for Economics & Peace), Numbeo Crime Index, and OSAC country reports.
Scored 1–10; higher = safer. Reflects perceived and statistical safety - not a guarantee of personal safety.
Sources: World Health Organization (WHO) rankings, OECD Health Statistics, and Numbeo Health Index.
Reflects system quality and accessibility. Private clinic availability may differ significantly from public system scores.
Sources: UN World Happiness Report (annual), which surveys residents' life satisfaction.
Lower rank number = happier nation as measured by self-reported wellbeing.
Sources: EF English Proficiency Index, travel community reports, and official language policies.
Classified as Very High / High / Moderate / Low. Urban areas typically score higher than rural regions.
Sources: Henley Passport Index, IATA Travel Centre, and official government immigration portals.
Visa requirements change frequently. Always confirm requirements with the destination country's official embassy.
Sources: OECD Tax Database, PwC Worldwide Tax Summaries, and national revenue authority publications.
Top marginal rates are shown. Effective rates depend on income level, deductions, and residency status.
Sources: A proprietary composite of the above indices, weighted across six pillars: Cost, Safety, Climate, Career, Visa, and Lifestyle.
The FL Score is an editorial ranking tool - not a financial or immigration recommendation.
Sources: Official government portals, national legislative databases, FCDO / US State Department travel advisories, Interpol country profiles, and editorial review of publicly available statutory law.
This is a general awareness summary ONLY - it is NOT legal advice. Laws differ by region within a country, change without notice, and are subject to enforcement discretion. Penalties shown are approximate. FutureLife is not a law firm. Always consult a qualified attorney licensed in the relevant jurisdiction before taking any action based on this information.
Sources: Official government emergency services portals, national police and fire authority websites, and WHO country emergency contacts.
Emergency numbers are verified at time of publication but may change. Always confirm the correct emergency number upon arrival in any country. FutureLife accepts no liability for any harm arising from use of or reliance on emergency contact information shown on this platform.
Sources: Global Peace Index, Numbeo Crime Index, OSAC (Overseas Security Advisory Council) country reports, and FCDO / US State Department travel advisories.
Crime classifications (Low / Moderate / High) are editorial assessments based on aggregated index data and are not a guarantee of personal safety. Conditions vary significantly by city, neighbourhood, and time of year.
